The NFL once again proved that entertainment is not just reserved for the Super Bowl. It is becoming more and more common for stellar games to include high-profile musical performances, and Thanksgiving Day 2025 was no exception. On a day that has become a tradition in millions of homes, the league brought together international artists to add a special touch to one of the most watched days on its calendar.

In recent weeks, the NFL had already shown signs of this trend with performances by figures such as Daddy Yankee and Bizarrap at the Miami Dolphins-Washington Commanders game. The Mexican band The Warning also performed during the game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Everything pointed to Thanksgiving being just as explosive… and it was. For the game between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers, the league announced Jack White as the halftime performer. However, the surprise came when the audience saw Eminem, one of the world’s most influential rappers and a Detroit icon, take the stage. Both artists, known Lions fans, lit up Ford Field with “Seven Nation Army” and “Till I Collapse,” two anthems that got the fans rocking.

As Jack White’s music boomed through the stadium, the Packers dominated the score 21-14 heading into halftime.

Although the show generated spectacular energy, Detroit was unable to reflect it on the field.

In the second half, Green Bay closed out its 31-24 win to move to 8-3 in the NFC North.

A crucial win that could propel them to the divisional lead if the Chicago Bears stumble against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Thanksgiving didn’t just have music in Detroit.

At the Dallas Cowboys game against the Kansas City Chiefs, singer Post Malone took over the show at AT&T Stadium.

The presence of the artist, who has a special bond with the franchise due to his father’s work with the team, generated a strong connection with the local fans.

To close out the day’s tripleheader, the Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals matchup at M&T Bank Stadium featured a performance by Lil Jon.

The rapper, who had already participated in the Super Bowl LVIII show as part of Usher’s show, added another appearance in the NFL and strengthened his relationship with the league.

Thus, the NFL confirms its intention to turn its special games into first-class sporting and cultural events.

With stars such as Jack White, Eminem, Post Malone and Lil Jon, the league delivers not only top-notch soccer, but a complete experience that connects with fans of all ages, including the growing U.S. Hispanic audience.
