This is a dream come true.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/agyvAFbQ8X\">pic.twitter.com\/agyvAFbQ8X<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Agust\u00edn Antonetti (@agusantonetti) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/agusantonetti\/status\/2007348507578118167?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 3, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nImmediately, inhabitants of residential buildings inside the military installation began to descend the stairs, several of them to try to leave the site, some on foot and others in vehicles, mostly filled with people fleeing the site for fear of further explosions.<\/p>\n<p>A military officer ordered the drivers to turn off the lights of the cars, which were lined up to exit through one of the main entrances to the military complex.<\/p>\n<p>Inside one of the vehicles, a couple was on their way to another area of Caracas where family members were staying, while the woman prayed for the protection of their home and the man talked to relatives to find out how they were doing.<\/p>\n<p>In the center of Caracas, where most of the public institutions are located, there was electricity and its avenues and streets were mostly empty, with few vehicles passing by and some people out of their homes or walking on the sidewalks.<\/p>\n<p>The government of Nicol\u00e1s Maduro denounced in a communiqu\u00e9 a<a href=\"https:\/\/queonnda.com\/en\/maduros-government-accuses-u-s-of-serious-military-aggression\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;very serious military aggression<\/a>&#8221; by the U.S. in civilian and military locations in Caracas and the nearby states of Miranda, Aragua and La Guaira, which, he warned, puts &#8220;the lives of millions of people at grave risk&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>According to the official text, Maduro has declared a state of external commotion throughout the national territory, in order to &#8220;protect the rights of the population, the full functioning of the republican institutions and to move immediately to the armed struggle&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/live-updates\/venezuela-us-military-strikes-maduro-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBS News<\/a> channel, citing US Administration sources, US President Donald Trump has ordered tonight to <a href=\"https:\/\/queonnda.com\/en\/explosions-reported-in-caracas-amid-tension-with-the-u-s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">attack<\/a> targets inside Venezuela, including military targets.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>With information from EFE<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dozens of residents of Fort Tiuna, Venezuela&#8217;s main military complex in Caracas, left this military complex early Saturday morning after the Venezuelan capital was rocked by a series of explosions coinciding with reports in several U.S. media that Washington has ordered attacks on targets inside Venezuela.
