Doncic hit back-to-back three-pointers in a 14-4 Lakers run that, with just over two minutes to play in the fourth period, put the Los Angeles Lakers on track for a 120-114 victory. The Slovenian finished the game with 36 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, while LeBron James had 26 points and ten assists on eight-of-fourteen shooting from the field.Jake LaRavia, formerly of the Grizzlies, turned in another brilliant personal performance with 26 points. <\/p>\n

For the Grizzlies, Canary Islander Santi Aldama contributed 12 points, nine rebounds and six assists in 30 minutes on the court coming off the bench.<\/p>\n

Without Ja Morant, the Grizzlies’ offensive leader was Jaylen Wells, with 20 points.<\/p>\n

Also in California, the Milwaukee Bucks sealed a big 115-98 win at the Sacramento Kings on the strength of 37 points and 11 rebounds from Greece’s Giannis Antetokounmpo.<\/p>\n

Less than a month ago, the Thunder swept the Suns 138-89 in the NBA Cup quarterfinals.<\/p>\n

This Sunday, the Phoenix team got their revenge with a great win against the NBA champions (108-105).<\/p>\n

They did it on a three-pointer with two seconds on the clock by Devin Booker, the only one of his night, to cap a 24-point, six-rebound, nine-assist game.<\/p>\n

It was the sixth loss of the season for the Thunder (30-6), in which Shai Gilgeous Alexander scored 25 points, despite being stuck with the shot (8 of 22).<\/p>\n

OKC continues to lead the West, while the Detroit Pistons rule the East.<\/p>\n

The Pistons beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 110-114, avoiding a comeback in the last minutes of the game, to confirm their first place in the East with a 26-9 record.<\/p>\n

Cade Cunningham had 27 points, seven assists and six rebounds, as well as two steals and a block, although he was a little off in shooting, making 7 of 22 shots from the field.<\/p>\n

Michael Porter Jr. returned after missing the last two games due to injury with 27 points and 11 rebounds.<\/p>\n

The Heat got back to winning ways with a 125-106 win at the Kaseya Center against the New Orleans Pelicans fueled by an amazing performance from Norman Powell.<\/p>\n

The former Clipper connected on nine three-pointers out of 12 and finished the game with 34 points and 11-of-15 shooting from the field.<\/p>\n

Miami put behind it a loss to Anthony Edwards’ Minnesota Timberwolves, which snapped its four-game winning streak.<\/p>\n

Edwards himself continues to shine and, after scoring 33 points against Miami, he scored 35 on Sunday in the Wolves’ 141-115 win at the lowly Washington Wizards.<\/p>\n

Among the other results, the Orlando Magic defeated the Indiana Pacers 135-127.<\/p>\n
