The future of Hirving “Chucky” Lozano is going through one of its most delicate moments. The Mexican striker is no longer part of the sports plans of San Diego FC, the MLS<\/a> club he joined as a Franchise Player, and is currently without a team, just a few months before the 2026 World Cup.<\/p>\n

The decision was confirmed by Tyler Heaps, the club’s sporting director, during a press conference<\/a> in which the team explained that, after an internal evaluation, it considered it necessary to take another sporting direction. Although the institution publicly thanked the player for his contributions, the next destination was not specified. <\/p>\n

The situation generates uncertainty around the Mexican National Team, which will co-host the 2026 World Cup.<\/p>\n
