I edited this compilation together so you can see how bad it really is! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/UQkhHePnE1\">pic.twitter.com\/UQkhHePnE1<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Matt Wallace (@MattWallace888) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MattWallace888\/status\/2025646879107903596?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 22, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nLemus said that he ordered the activation of the &#8220;code red&#8221; to protect the population after the drug blockades following the death of El Mencho, while public transportation has been temporarily suspended in some areas, and that a Security Roundtable has been installed, which will be in permanent session, in coordination with federal forces.<\/p>\n<p>In Michoac\u00e1n, the state <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SSeguridad_Mich\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Public Security Secretariat<\/a> reported roadblocks that occurred as part of &#8220;efforts to capture criminal targets&#8221;, without giving further details.<\/p>\n<p>While at the bus terminal in Morelia, capital of Michoac\u00e1n, departures have been suspended until further notice.<\/p>\n<p>In Guanajuato, the Secretariat of Security and Peace confirmed that &#8220;burnings have been registered in pharmacies and convenience stores in different parts of Guanajuato&#8221; as a result of the federal action.<\/p>\n<p>And in northern Tamaulipas, the state spokesperson has reported blockades with burned vehicles on different highways throughout the morning.<\/p>\n<p>Local media have also reported fires in avenues and businesses in Colima, Nayarit (west) and Aguascalientes (center), without confirmation from authorities.<\/p>\n<p>In images disseminated by the media and social networks, burning vehicles can be seen crossing roads and columns of smoke visible from several meters away in Jalisco, Michoac\u00e1n, Colima, Nayarit, Tamaulipas and Aguascalientes.
