LAFC confirmed its superiority and advanced to the round of 16 of the Concachampions 2026 after defeating Real Espa\u00f1a 1-0 in the second leg, for a convincing 7-1 aggregate score. The match was played at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles (formerly Banc of California Stadium), where the team from Los Angeles controlled the series from start to finish.<\/p>\n

The MLS<\/a> team arrived with a big advantage after the first leg, and although the first half was more balanced, LAFC dominated possession and limited the Honduran club’s clear chances. Real Espa\u00f1a tried to generate danger, but was unable to score and the score remained 0-0 at halftime. <\/p>\n

In the second half, LAFC imposed conditions in this Concachampions duel.<\/p>\n

In the 64th minute, Nkosi Tafari scored the only goal of the match from a set piece.<\/p>\n

This further widened the difference in the overall score and practically sealed the tie.<\/p>\n

The home team showed defensive order and intelligent management of the pace of the game.<\/p>\n

Real Espa\u00f1a had an important opportunity in the 88th minute, when the referee called a penalty for a foul inside the area.<\/p>\n

However, Jhow Benav\u00eddez missed the kick, wasting the chance to score.<\/p>\n
