Mexican actress <\/a>Sandra Echeverr\u00eda<\/span><\/span> publicly denounced having been the victim of an alleged financial fraud that would have put her patrimony and that of more than a thousand people at risk. The performer shared her testimony through a video posted on her Instagram account, where she explained how she got involved in an investment scheme that ended up seriously affecting dozens of families. <\/p>\n

In his message, Echeverr\u00eda explained that he decided to invest his resources in a company identified as Meta Exchange Capital. He explained that the firm offered yields considerably higher than those normally offered by traditional banking institutions, which represented an attractive opportunity for those seeking to grow their capital. <\/p>\n

However, the situation changed as time went by. According to the actress, for more than 18 months neither she nor the rest of the investors have received any profits or the return of the money initially contributed. The lack of clear answers and the repeated non-compliance with payments set off alarm bells among those affected. <\/p>\n

“They took away our patrimony,” she expressed visibly affected, underlining the magnitude of the economic and emotional damage that this situation has caused.<\/p>\n

Sandra Echeverr\u00eda and her swindle complaint: More than 1,000 people affected<\/h2>\n

According to the figures shared by Echeverr\u00eda, the company would have captured deposits exceeding 2 billion pesos. The number of people affected could exceed one thousand, which makes this a high impact case. <\/p>\n

The company was allegedly headed by a woman identified as Nazareth “N”, who, according to the public complaint, offered attractive profits to investors. However, over time the promised payments ceased to be made. <\/p>\n

The case has already transcended the private sphere and is in the hands of the authorities. So far, more than 200 formal complaints have been filed with the Mexico City Attorney General’s Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City against the company’s legal representatives.<\/span><\/span> against the company’s legal representatives. Some legal proceedings have advanced, while others are still in process. <\/p>\n

Recently, the actress reported, Patrick “N” and Mariana “N” were arrested as part of the investigations. However, the main suspect, Nazareth “N”, officially remains a fugitive. <\/p>\n

Echeverr\u00eda expressed his gratitude to both the Prosecutor’s Office and the capital’s Judicial Branch for the attention given to the case. However, he made a firm call for the legal process not to stop and for justice to be guaranteed for all the victims. <\/p>\n

“We will continue the legal and judicial process in accordance with the law (…) We ask, please, that the authorities do not release us, that justice be done,” he declared.<\/p>\n

The complaint has generated a strong impact on social networks, by highlighting the risks associated with certain unregulated investment schemes that promise extraordinary profits. While the investigations continue, the actress and the other affected parties have reiterated their intention to fully cooperate with the authorities to clarify the facts and seek the recovery of the allegedly defrauded resources. <\/p>\n
