The news was confirmed by her family through a statement released on Sunday, in which they expressed their deep sorrow for her departure. <\/p>\n

According to the message shared by her loved ones, the actress died surrounded by the affection of her family after going through a long and difficult process related to her health. Her passing has provoked numerous reactions from colleagues and friends within the entertainment industry, who remember her for her talent, her human warmth and her optimistic spirit. <\/p>\n

In the statement released by the family and quoted by U.S. media, Jennifer Runyon’s loved ones shared emotionally charged words to bid her farewell.<\/p>\n

“This Friday our dear Jennifer passed away after a long and arduous journey. She was surrounded by her family in her last moments. She will always be remembered for her love of life and the deep devotion she had for her family and friends,” they said.<\/p>\n

The message concluded with a brief but heartfelt farewell, “Rest in peace, our Jenn.”<\/p>\n

The words quickly began to circulate on social networks, where followers and colleagues of the actress sent messages of condolences and recalled some of the highlights of her career.<\/p>\n

Although the family did not initially detail the cause of her death, actress Erin Murphy<\/span><\/span>known for her role in the series Bewitched<\/span><\/span>confirmed that Runyon was dealing with an illness.<\/p>\n

Through a Facebook post, Murphy revealed that her friend had fought a brief battle with cancer before passing away.<\/p>\n

“There are people you know you will be friends with before you even meet them. She was a very special woman. I will miss you, Jenn,” Murphy wrote in his message. He also expressed his solidarity with the actress’ family and sent words of support to her children. <\/p>\n

Through her Instagram account, the young woman shared a message full of emotion in which she recalled the influence her mother had on her life.<\/p>\n

“All the best parts of me come from you. I would give anything to have one more day with you,” Corman wrote, accompanying his words with family photos.<\/p>\n

Actor Willie Aames<\/span><\/span>who shared the screen with Runyon in the series Charles in Charge, also used his social networks to say goodbye to his friend.<\/p>\n

In his message he recalled the years of friendship they shared outside of television sets, including family celebrations, vacations and numerous encounters between friends.<\/p>\n

“Jenn was more than a friend. She was someone who always encouraged others,” the actor wrote.<\/p>\n

Aames confessed that watching the deterioration of the actress during the last few months was a very difficult experience. As she explained, the disease progressed rapidly, leaving a deep void among those who knew her. <\/p>\n

With her departure, Jennifer Runyon leaves behind a career marked by memorable television and film appearances, as well as the affection of colleagues, friends and fans who today mourn her passing.<\/p>\n
