The Mexican National Soccer Team continues to show signs of growth in the process towards the 2026 World Cup, since after a 0-0 draw against Portugal in a recent friendly match, the team coached by Javier Aguirre moved up to 15th place in the FIFA Ranking, consolidating its position among the most competitive teams of the moment.<\/p>\n

This move comes as part of FIFA’s new dynamic ranking system, which updates positions in near real time based on the most recent results. Thanks to this draw against a European power, Mexico gained enough points to move up one position from 16th place. For the Hispanic community in the United States, this kind of progress reflects El Tri’s current momentum, especially considering that the 2026 World Cup<\/a> will be played largely on U.S. soil. <\/p>\n
