On April 13, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame<\/span><\/span> unveiled the official list of artists who will be part of its 2026 generation. As every year, the selection gathers figures whose trajectory has marked a before and after in the history of music, recognizing not only their commercial success, but also their cultural influence at a global level.<\/p>\n

Expectations were high, especially due to the diversity of genders and generations represented among the nominees, which made this edition one of the most talked about in recent years.<\/p>\n

Shakira is left off the list of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Among the names that stood out as candidates were Shakira<\/span><\/span>who was competing with 16 other artists for a place in this exclusive venue. Despite having a consolidated career<\/a> of more than two decades and a huge fan base, the Colombian artist did not manage to secure her entry on this occasion.<\/p>\n

In the public voting, Shakira reached fifth place, which evidenced a significant support from her fans. However, the process also includes the decision of more than 1,200 specialized voters, including historians, musicians and industry figures, which ended up tipping the scales towards other candidates.<\/p>\n
