The controversial parties of the Mexican National Team before the Russia 2018 World Cup are once again the topic of conversation, after Oribe Peralta revealed unpublished details about those meetings that generated controversy inside and outside the country. During a podcast interview, the former El Tri striker confirmed his presence at the pre-World Cup gathering, a party that at the time sparked strong criticism after images were leaked showing several players from the national team.<\/p>\n

Oribe Peralta explained that these meetings took place during the Mexican National Team’s free time and that, in this context, the players took advantage of the occasion to get together. “When there was time to have a good party, they were good parties,” commented the former player, making it clear that they were meetings between important figures of the team. <\/p>\n
