The Red Hot Chili Peppers once again shook up the global music industry after finalizing the sale of their recorded music catalog to Warner Music Group in a deal valued at more than $300 million, one of the largest recent transactions in the rock business.<\/p>\n

The news confirms the enormous commercial value that the historic Californian band continues to have even after more than four decades of career. The agreement includes a large part of the band’s recorded discography and strengthens the strategy of major music companies to acquire the catalogs of legendary artists. According to specialized music industry reports, the deal involves the rights to the recordings of 13 studio albums, including the last nine albums released under Warner Music<\/a>.<\/p>\n
