The South Korean group<\/a> BTS<\/span><\/span> once again demonstrated why it is still considered one of the most influential bands on the planet. During the most recent edition of the American Music Awards<\/span><\/span>held in Las Vegas, the septet conquered all the categories in which it was nominated, reaffirming the enormous support of its followers and its impact within the international music industry. <\/p>\n

The band won the awards for Artist of the Year, Best K-pop Male Artist and Song of the Summer, consolidating a triumphant comeback after a period of mandatory military service in South Korea.<\/p>\n

BTS with their AMA’s Artist of the Year Award: Dedicated to ARMY<\/h2>\n

One of the most emotional moments of the ceremony occurred when the leader of the group, RM<\/span><\/span>took the stage to receive the most important award of the night. During his speech, he thanked the unconditional support of ARMY, the name by which the community of BTS fans around the world is known. <\/p>\n

The artist emphasized that the recognition has a special meaning because it comes after an important stage for the group and stressed that the award belongs to both the members and the millions of fans who have accompanied them since their debut in 2013.<\/p>\n

The win takes on even more significance when you consider that BTS beat out such international heavyweights in the Artist of the Year category as Bad Bunny<\/span><\/span>, Taylor Swift<\/span><\/span>, Sabrina Carpenter<\/span><\/span> y Lady Gaga<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Minutes later, BTS received the award for Song of the Summer for “SWIM,” the lead single from their album Arirang<\/em>. During the appreciation, RM explained that the project was developed under great creative pressure and that the group sought to find a musical approach that authentically reflected their artistic identity. <\/p>\n

For its part, V<\/span><\/span> took the opportunity to send a motivational message to his followers, inviting them to keep going no matter the difficulties.<\/p>\n

The success of BTS at the AMAs is seen by many specialists as a sign of the group’s consolidation within the Western music market.<\/p>\n

Carolina Aballay, president of the official BTS fan club in Chile, pointed out that the band has accumulated important recognition in the United States over the last few years. However, she considers that one of the definitive steps to complete this recognition process would be to win a Grammy award, something the group has been pursuing for several seasons. <\/p>\n

Anticipation around BTS is also growing in Latin America, a region where the group maintains a particularly passionate fan base.<\/p>\n

According to Aballay, recent presentations in Mexico revealed the enthusiasm of Latin audiences, whose energy and commitment tend to turn each concert into a unique experience. For this reason, it is expected that the region will play a fundamental role in the next stage of the group’s international tour. <\/p>\n

The American Music Awards is known for being one of the awards where audience participation plays a decisive role. Although nominations are determined based on metrics such as album sales, plays on digital platforms, radio airplay and tour revenues, the winners are chosen exclusively by fan voting. <\/p>\n

This dynamic once again favored BTS, whose global community of followers once again demonstrated their ability to mobilize. With three awards in a single night and a popularity that continues to grow, the South Korean group confirms that it continues to be one of the most important cultural phenomena in contemporary music. <\/p>\n
