The presentation of the final list of players for the Mexican National Team for the 2026 World Cup was accompanied by a surprise that quickly became a trend among fans, as after revealing the 26 players chosen by Javier Aguirre, the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) released a special video in which prominent figures from the world of sports, entertainment and culture sent messages of support to the national team.<\/p>\n

The material was shared through the official platforms<\/a> of the Mexican National Team and had a great impact among El Tri fans, especially because it brought together some of Mexico’s most recognized personalities in the same message of encouragement towards the most important tournament in world soccer.<\/p>\n

Among the participants were Mexican soccer historians such as Hugo S\u00e1nchez, Rafael M\u00e1rquez<\/strong>, Enrique Borja, Manuel Negrete, Fernando Quirarte and Cuauht\u00e9moc Blanco.<\/p>\n

All of them referents of different generations of the National Team.<\/p>\n

They were joined by figures from other sports who have also taken Mexico’s name to the highest levels on the international stage.<\/p>\n

Among them were Formula 1 driver Sergio “Checo” P\u00e9rez, world boxing champion Sa\u00fal “Canelo” \u00c1lvarez, former Olympic gymnast Lorena Ochoa, wrestler M\u00edstico and baseball player Randy Arozarena.<\/p>\n
