On Wednesday, Brazilian Andr\u00e9 Jardine stepped down as coach of Mexican soccer club Am\u00e9rica, a club he joined in 2023 and with which he won three league titles, one Champions League title and one Super Cup.<\/p>\n

“Club Am\u00e9rica informs that, after several meetings with Andr\u00e9 Jardine, the team and the coach agreed to terminate the tenure of Andr\u00e9 and his coaching staff at the helm of the \u00c1guilas,” wrote the team from the nation’s capital.<\/p>\n

Jardine joined America in June 2023.<\/p>\n

He led the team to the Apertura 2023, Clausura 2024 and Apertura 2024 titles.<\/p>\n

Successes that put the cream of the cream entity on the list of champions with 16.<\/p>\n

“The team recognizes the dedication, commitment and work developed by Andr\u00e9 in the achievement of multiple successes that will be marked in the history of Am\u00e9rica.”<\/p>\n

“Reaffirming its position as the winningest team in Mexico and placing Andr\u00e9 as the team’s most successful coach.”<\/p>\n

The tactician, who led Brazil to the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, was also named best coach in Liga MX.<\/a><\/p>\n
