Argentine singer<\/a> Cazzu left the music stages for a moment to join one of the most important social mobilizations in her country. The artist was one of the most prominent figures during the commemoration of the eleventh anniversary of Ni Una Menos, a movement that was born to make visible and combat gender violence in Argentina. <\/p>\n

Thousands of people gathered in front of the Plaza del Congreso in Buenos Aires to participate in the day of protest and reflection. Among the attendees was Julieta Cazzuchelli, the performer’s real name, who decided to get actively involved in the event and use her voice to support a cause she considers fundamental. <\/p>\n

The singer’s presence generated great attention both among attendees and on social networks, where numerous users highlighted her commitment to social issues that affect millions of women.<\/p>\n

Cazzu at the ‘Ni Una Menos’ march: A strong message from the main stage<\/h2>\n

During the mobilization, Cazzu went up to the main stage installed in front of the National Congress. There she shared space with actress Thelma Fardin to read the official document prepared by the feminist collective in charge of organizing the day. <\/p>\n

In front of a crowd that attentively followed her every word, the artist delivered a speech full of social and political content. In her speech she referred to the need to continue to make visible the violence faced by women and denounced the different forms of aggression and inequality that persist in society. <\/p>\n

The singer also stressed the importance of defending women’s rights and rejecting any attempt to minimize or deny issues related to gender violence.<\/p>\n

Their participation was received with applause and shows of support from the attendees, who accompanied the slogans that have historically characterized the movement.<\/p>\n

The mobilization had a special significance on the eleventh anniversary of the birth of Ni Una Menos. The movement emerged on June 3, 2015 after the murder of Chiara P\u00e1ez, a case that shocked Argentine society and prompted one of the largest expressions of protest against male violence in Latin America. <\/p>\n

Since then, thousands of women have taken to the streets every year to demand justice, equality and public policies to prevent and punish gender-based violence.<\/p>\n

This year’s edition once again brought together social organizations, activists, artists and citizens who consider it essential to keep the call for a safer and more equitable society alive.<\/p>\n

A call that continued in social networks<\/h2>\n

After participating in the mobilization, Cazzu also used her digital platforms to reinforce the message shared during the day. Through a publication, the singer reflected on the diversity of experiences that women live and how gender violence crosses different areas of society. <\/p>\n

The artist pointed out that although women may have different political opinions, economic contexts or personal histories, many share experiences related to situations of discrimination, abuse or violence.<\/p>\n

Her message quickly generated reactions among her followers, who supported her words and highlighted the importance of public figures using their influence to promote reflection on these issues.<\/p>\n

One of the most commented points of Cazzu’s publication was the message addressed to men. While continuing to develop her artistic career and enjoying her time as mother of Inti, the daughter she had with Mexican singer Christian Nodal, the singer also takes advantage of her media reach to promote messages of social awareness.<\/p>\n
