For a long time, NASCAR was seen as a sport dominated by white American drivers. But that is changing. Today, a new generation of Latino drivers is making its mark in America’s most followed motorsport. <\/p>\n

Whether from Mexico, Colombia, Cuba or Puerto Rico, these athletes are accelerating into history. Here are 10 Latinos who are making a difference in NASCAR. <\/p>\n

Daniel Suarez (Mexico)<\/h2>\n

Daniel Su\u00e1rez is the pioneer. In 2016 he became the first Latino to win a NASCAR national championship, the Xfinity Series. <\/p>\n

In 2022 he made history by winning in the premier series, NASCAR Cup Series, breaking barriers and opening doors.<\/p>\n
