In a recent interview with TNT Sports<\/a>, legendary English striker Alan Shearer spoke about the most outstanding Mexican strikers in recent years, and made clear his admiration for Ra\u00fal Jim\u00e9nez. Compared to Javier “Chicharito” Hern\u00e1ndez, Shearer did not hesitate to choose the current Fulham FC striker as his favorite:<\/p>\n

“I would say Raul Jimenez. They’re different players, but probably Ra\u00fal… after what he’s been through with the injury and scoring goals again, I’m a fan of his.” These statements by Shearer – the Premier League’s all-time leading scorer with 260 goals – add significant value to the analysis of Mexican players who have made their mark in Europe.<\/p>\n
