This Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series 2025 returns to one of its most complex circuits, Texas Motor Speedway, for the W\u00dcRTH 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY, a key race on the mid-season schedule. The race will be broadcast at 3:30 p.m. ET on FS1, PRN<\/a> and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.<\/p>\n

The 1.5-mile track, known for its extreme differences between turns 1-2 (flat and slow) and turns 3-4 (higher and faster), challenges even the most experienced drivers. Last year, the race generated a record 16 yellow flags, the highest number in a 400-mile competition on an oval of this type.<\/p>\n

Denny Hamlin, a three-time winner at Texas, acknowledged that balance between corners was the key factor in his crash last year on the final lap:<\/p>\n

“We were too aggressive on one side and paid for it dearly,” said the Joe Gibbs Racing driver.<\/p>\n

Also on the NASCAR Cup Series track will be Kyle Busch, who has won at Texas four times and along with Hamlin is the only active driver with multiple victories at this oval.<\/p>\n

For Chase Elliott, who broke a 42-race winless streak at this track in 2024, Texas represents a turning point.<\/p>\n

The Hendrick Motorsports driver admitted that luck played a role in his win after a late yellow flag gave him the opportunity to restart on the front row.<\/p>\n
