His case stands out for his history of recidivism and for being a person with a serious criminal record in both countries, which activated his priority to be removed from the country.<\/p>\n<h2><!--more--><\/h2>\n<h2>Reentered after deportation<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_44747\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-44747\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-44747\" src=\"https:\/\/queonnda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/mexicano-ok-2.jpg\" alt=\"Miguel Sifuentes Jim\u00e9nez\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-44747\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">PHOTO: Shutterstock<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to official records, Miguel Sifuentes Jim\u00e9nez had previously been deported in 2013 from Calexico, California.<\/p>\n<p>This after he was convicted of robbery, aggravated assault and domestic violence.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p style=\"color: #fd9737;\">He was handed over to Mexican authorities at the top of the Stanton Street Bridge<\/p><cite>Qu\u00e9Onnda.com<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n<p>Despite that expulsion, he re-entered illegally on May 3, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>He crossed the border on foot near the Santa Teresa Port of Entry in New Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>On that occasion he was arrested, prosecuted as a repeat offender and released after serving a sentence.<\/p>\n<p>Taking to the streets by decision of the Luna County Detention Center in Deming, New Mexico.<\/p>\n<h2>ICE reinforces control<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_44749\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-44749\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-44749\" src=\"https:\/\/queonnda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/mexicano-ok-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-44749\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">PHOTO: Shutterstock<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>The situation escalated again in May 2025, when Miguel Sifuentes Jimenez was placed by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) agents at the Eddy County Detention Center in Carlsbad, New Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>He was serving a new sentence for aggravated assault on a household member, including strangulation or suffocation.<\/p>\n<p>ICE placed a detainer to prevent his release without immigration supervision.<\/p>\n<p>Upon his release, he was immediately taken into custody and on May 13 was charged with inadmissibility as a previously deported alien.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, for re-entering the country illegally, which are considered serious offenses under immigration law.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/queonnda.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Qu\u00e9Onnda.com.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 36-year-old Mexican national, identified as Miguel Sifuentes Jimenez, was deported on May 22, 2025 by Immigration and Customs Enforcement(ICE) agents after illegally re-entering the United States and facing multiple criminal charges both in the U.S. and in his home country.
