Kevin Morales, a 36-year-old Hispanic man, tragically lost his life last Thursday, May 22, 2025, after being struck by a train on NJ Transit’s Pascack Valley Line in Hackensack, New Jersey. The incident occurred around 11:36 a.m., according to NJ Transit<\/a> spokesperson Kyalo Mulumba.<\/p>\n

Morales was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, none of the 78 passengers or train crew members were injured, authorities said.<\/p>\n

His friends remember him as a cheerful, caring and kind-hearted person.<\/p>\n

Her close friend, Lorraine Mhaidat, organized a GoFundMe<\/a> campaign in her honor.<\/p>\n
