On Monday, July 7, 2025, Karol G grabbed all the attention when she attended the Schiaparelli fashion show<\/a>, which opened Haute Couture Week in Paris.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the rain, the Colombian singer arrived at the Petit Palais with a positive attitude, although her flashy tight dress with corset and train made it difficult for her to enter the venue.<\/span> She needed help to climb the stairs and avoid getting her outfit wet. But a situation triggered controversy in social networks… Did Karol G suffer a lack of respect? <\/span><\/p>\n

The dress, in black and white, featured a sweetheart neckline that enhanced her figure, embroidered floral details and surrealistic motifs characteristic of the firm, such as eyes and lips.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, it incorporated small three-dimensional flowers with beads that formed bangs, adding dynamism to the ensemble.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the Instagram account ‘Dazed Fashion’ a video was posted from the front row of the fashion event where Hunter Schafer, Karol G, Dua Lipa and Cardi B are seen together watching the models, but it sparked controversy.<\/p>\n

All of them were tagged on Instagram except the Latina, which undoubtedly many people took badly and among them were Ricky Martin and Eiza Gonzalez.<\/p>\n

Given that they all wore Schiaparelli<\/span> designs, it was strange that Karol G was the only one not featured in the publication, so her colleagues wrote:<\/p>\n

“Excuse me but who are the ladies sitting next to Karol G?”, put Ricky Martin; while Eiza Gonzalez: “Why am I not surprised that you decided to completely ignore that Karol G is sitting there?”, added the Mexican.<\/p>\n

So far, the Colombian woman has not commented on the situation.<\/p>\n
