Businesswoman and influencer Mayeli Alonso, ex-wife of regional Mexican singer<\/a> Lupillo Rivera, reacted publicly to the statements made by the singer in his recent autobiography entitled Tragos Amargos (Bitter Drinks)<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In this book, the artist known as “El Toro del Corrido” narrates passages of his personal life, including aspects of his relationship with Alonso, which has generated controversy in the media and among his followers.<\/p>\n

During an interview with Univision’s Despierta America, Alonso shared her point of view on her ex-partner’s statements, pointing out that the content of the play responds to a narrative that, according to her, “suits” Lupillo.<\/p>\n

Alonso was direct in her opinion about the book and its contents.<\/p>\n

“There is a lot of convenience, he says what is convenient for him,” she said about Lupillo Rivera’s autobiography.<\/p>\n

With a serene but firm tone, she added that she does not feel affected by what was written: “If it is important and if it works for him to affect the mother of his children… the truth is that it does not affect me, it happened a long time ago, bye bye with that”.<\/p>\n

The businesswoman pointed out that she has only read fragments of the book, mainly through summaries that were shared with her: “I have read very little, they sent me some highlights. The truth is, I don’t consume books about things that don’t give me something good”.<\/p>\n

One of the allegations made by Lupillo Rivera in Tragos Amargos<\/em> is that, according to his version, Mayeli had offered him a million dollars to avoid divorce.<\/p>\n

The businesswoman categorically rejected this statement: “No, that is a lie. It is very absurd.<\/p>\n

Her response seeks to disprove an episode that, according to her, is unfounded and was included in the book without any real support.<\/p>\n

Mayeli Alonso: Accusations of infidelity to Lupillo Rivera<\/h2>\n

The book also addresses a delicate issue: Lupillo Rivera claims that Alonso was unfaithful with a musician. Faced with this accusation, Mayeli preferred to keep her composure and not enter into a media conflict with the father of her children.<\/p>\n
