The entertainment<\/a> industry in Brazil and Latin America is experiencing moments of consternation after the tragic discovery on October 9 or 10, 2025, when Lidiane Aline Loren\u00e7o, a 33-year-old model and influencer, and her daughter Miana Sophya Santos, 15, were found dead in their apartment located in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n

According to Civil Police and local reports, the bodies showed no visible signs of violence, and authorities have left the case open while awaiting the results of forensic analysis.<\/p>\n

Upon entering the apartment – located on the 11th floor of the building – firefighters and police officers forced the door, motivated by complaints from neighbors who perceived a “strong and strange” odor coming from the building.<\/p>\n

Inside the house, the bodies were found in separate rooms: Miana in the living room and Lidiane in one of the bedrooms.<\/p>\n

The preliminary police report indicates that both may have been dead for days at the time of discovery, which has made it difficult to pinpoint the exact time of death.<\/p>\n

What has been confirmed so far about Lidiane Aline and her daughter<\/h2>\n

According to Brazilian media, Lidiane and Miana were last seen on October 4, when they attended a beauty salon located in the same building where they lived. From that moment on, they were not seen publicly again.<\/p>\n

Neighbors and family members stated that for at least five days they had no news of mother and daughter, which increased their concern until the smell alerted the authorities.<\/p>\n

Lidiane was a native of Santa Cec\u00edlia, in the state of Santa Catarina, although she had lived in Rio de Janeiro for more than five years. She was dedicated to sharing fashion, lifestyle and beauty content, and had more than 54 thousand followers on Instagram.<\/p>\n

It is also revealed that she was studying medicine at a private university in Rio de Janeiro. Miana, on the other hand, was a student at the EEB Irm\u00e3 Irene school in Santa Cec\u00edlia, and had recently moved to live with her mother.<\/p>\n

The bodies of both were later transferred to Santa Cec\u00edlia, where the wake and burial were held on Sunday, October 12 at the Municipal Cemetery.<\/p>\n

In view of the accumulation of versions and concerns, Lidiane’s family issued a statement requesting respect, sensitivity and prudence in the dissemination of information. They asked to wait for the official results and to avoid rumors that could damage the memory of mother and daughter.<\/p>\n

In Brazil and Latin America, the reaction on social networks was immediate: users lamented the loss, shared memories of her publications and demanded the clarification of the case. The figure of Lidiane, as a model and influencer with a positive message to her followers, became a trigger for many people to express their solidarity.<\/p>\n

For the moment, Brazilian authorities have preliminarily ruled out the hypothesis of third party intervention, since no injuries or signs of aggression were identified at the scene. However, they have not yet revealed a definitive cause of death, and toxicological, laboratory and advanced expert examinations promise to shed more light on the ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n
