Milan’s Mexican striker Santiago Giménez announced on Wednesday that he will be out of action due to a long-standing ankle problem that has prevented him from playing in perfect condition at the start of the season.
“For several months I have been playing with an ankle injury that has not allowed me to be at 100%, nor feel comfortable on the court,” he revealed on his Instagram account.
Admits to playing with pain

El Bebote’, as Santiago Gimenez is known, who has yet to score in the Italian domestic championship so far, has come under fire for his poor performances.
In addition, he did not play against Roma last time out due to the aforementioned injury.
“With a lot of desire to continue helping the team, I kept playing, but the pain grew and it was time to stop.”
“Now it’s time to recover and get ready to be back as soon as possible. God is in control. Thanks for the support. See you soon,” added the Mexican international.
Will miss the match against Parma

As a result, Santiago Gimenez will not be available for at least the Serie A clash against Parma.
He will also not play for the Mexican national team in the upcoming break.
The goal of both club and player is to be available for the derby against Inter Milan on November 23.
Santiago Gimenez’s only goal so far this season came in the Coppa Italia against Lecce on September 23, more than a month ago.
