Director Steven Spielberg and actor Timothée Chalamet received their first Grammy Award nominations on Friday, expanding their presence in the entertainment industry’s most prestigious awards.

Spielberg, who has accumulated 23 Oscar nominations in his entire career, was now nominated along with his partners Frank Marshall and Kathleen Kennedy, in the Best Motion Picture Musical category for ‘Music By John Williams’.

With this nomination, the director of ‘Jaws’ completes the four categories of the EGOT Awards (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony), although he has not yet won a Tony or a Grammy Award.

For his part, Chalamet received a nomination for his role as Bob Dylan in the film ‘A Complete Unknown’ in the category of best soundtrack album compiled for visual media.

The 29-year-old actor is up against the soundtracks of movies ‘F1’, ‘Wicked’, ‘Sinners’ and the ‘KPop phenomenon ‘KPop Demon Hunters’, whose song ‘Golden’ is competing for song of the year and holds other nominations.

The Grammy Awards will be held on February 1 at a gala in Los Angeles. Californian rapper Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with nine nominations, followed by Lady Gaga with seven, and Bad Bunny and Sabrina Carpenter with six each, reported Agencia EFE.
