The controversy surrounding the triumph of Fatima Bosch as Miss Universe 2025 has not stopped. Since her coronation on November 20 (with the time difference marked in networks as November 21 in Thailand), rumors, versions and questions about the result of the pageant began to circulate.
Among those who have expressed doubts, “several people” are mentioned, including the former CEO of Miss Universe Mexico, which has further fueled the public debate on social networks.
Faced with this scenario, the Tabasco model decided to speak out directly.
Through a video posted on her Instagram profile, Fátima Bosch made her position clear: she will not give up the crown.
In her message, she explained that her decision was not based solely on winning the title, but on the responsibility and meaning that, from her perspective, representing Miss Universe implies.
From the beginning of her speech, Bosch spoke from a personal and emotional level: “I want to speak to you from a very personal place, from my truth. To be Miss Universe is not only to wear a crown, it is to carry a mission,” she said at the beginning of her message, stressing that her intention goes beyond the show and the competition.

Fatima said that her goal as winner of the contest is to become a role model for girls and young women, especially for those who once felt they did not have a close reference to identify with. In her story, she explained that during her childhood she did not remember seeing a public figure that made her think: “if she can do it, so can I”.
For that reason, today he sets out a concrete mission: “To become that role model. Not only for the people who identify with me, but for all those who at some point felt that their authenticity was too much or too little,” he said, connecting his position with the idea of representation and identity.
The same video mentions that she is the daughter of Bernardo Bosch Hernández, whom she identifies as a Pemex collaborator.
In his statement, Bosch also addressed an element that is part of his public narrative: his history as a neurodivergent person. As he explained, his life has been marked by ups and downs and challenges, and he said he faced those difficulties with courage and sensitivity.
In a central part of the message, she said: “I am a woman who learned to look at herself, to embrace her history, but above all to raise her voice, even when the world asked her to be silent”.
She also specified, “Yes, I grew up a neurodivergent child, but that’s not the only part of my story. I also grew up with a brave heart, with a deep sensitivity and a strength that taught me that being different is also a way to be authentic.”
Fatima Bosch insisted that she speaks from her “truth” and from the mission she says she carries “in her heart”, reaffirming that her determination does not depend on media noise. In her closing remarks, she left a strong message: although she is Miss Universe, before that she is herself, with her traits, convictions and imperfections.
“This has already begun and I do not intend to stop it… I am Fátima Bosch Fernández, I am Miss Universe 2025,” she concluded, taking it for granted that she will continue with the role despite the questioning that has persisted since November.
