Dominican actress and model Taina Pimentel and Mexican singer Lupillo Rivera finally made their relationship public, after several weeks in which their closeness gave rise to constant speculation. The rumors began to gain strength at the beginning of November, when a photograph was published showing the two together.
The image was also accompanied by a phrase that sparked interpretations: “With him I feel what I didn’t feel before”.
From that moment on, the networks were filled with comments: some users assumed that it was a real romance, while others insisted that it could be a publicity stunt or a promotional strategy.
However, with their joint appearance on television, the couple sought to dispel any doubts.
The definitive statement was made during an interview on Despierta America (Univision), where both spoke openly about their relationship and the moment in which their story was reactivated.
Buzzy explained that this is not an impromptu relationship or one born out of recent fame, but rather a reunion with someone he knew before.
“He is a person I met some time ago. We talked for a while, we took a break and a few weeks ago he asked me for a favor related to some television negotiations… we talked again and we gave each other a second chance,” he said.
In his testimony, the singer stressed that, for now, they are focusing on enjoying this stage: “They are having a good time,” he said.

Both agreed that their first meeting occurred after Lupillo’s participation in a Telemundo reality show. According to the performer, it was then when Pimentel approached him, marking the beginning of their interaction.
“She saw me there and went and looked for me,” explained Lupillo, implying that the contact between the two comes from a previous context and not exclusively from the current moment.
During the chat, the interviewer posed the question directly: whether or not they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Taina Pimentel answered without hesitation and with a phrase that became the most commented moment of the segment: “That’s my macho man”.
The brief but forceful statement made it clear that what was rumored was no longer an assumption, but a publicly assumed relationship.
Another key point of the interview was to deny the versions that assured that it was all about an advertising campaign, particularly linked to a music video. Lupillo denied this idea outright: “They were telling us that it was for a music video and no… the relationship is true. We have been living together a lot,” he affirmed, insisting that the relationship exists and that they have shared time together.
For her part, Pimentel explained what it was that won her over to the singer and how she sees the public perception of the artist: “I have always told him that I like the intelligent man, the thinking man. He has many attributes. Even if people don’t want to see him, I will take the time to show him little by little”.
With these statements, both made it clear that the romance is not based on speculation or media strategy, but on a second chance that they decided to live openly.
