Mexico City ‘s National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism (Canaco) estimated that the eight concerts to be offered by Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny at the GNP Stadium, starting on December 10, will bring in approximately 3,228 million pesos (approximately US$177 million).
According to the agency, 70% of this total corresponds to ticket sales, while 17% will be generated by the consumption of food and beverages and 12.9% will derive from the increase in hotel occupancy, which may exceed 90% in the areas surrounding the venue.
He also said that the performer’s shows, which will attract some 520,000 people from as many as 77 countries, will boost the local economy “by activating value chains in sectors such as food and beverages, transportation and retail”.
“The businesses with the greatest benefits will be restaurants, cafes, bars, fast food establishments, cabs, mobility applications, public transportation, tourist services, convenience stores and souvenir stores,” he said.
The Chamber also asked attendees to “only consume in formal commerce, since some of the merchandise offered in the vicinity of the GNP Stadium may be of illegal or pirated origin, which directly affects the formal economy, employment and consumer safety”.

The singer’s tour is one of the most anticipated in Mexico and has been described as a “global phenomenon”, since according to the event promoter Ocesa, visitors from 77 countries will be received, in addition to highlighting that 45% of the audience comes from other states of the country.
The young audience is the most expectant of the tour, as six out of ten attendees are between 18 and 34 years old.
He also emphasizes that three million people entered Ticketmaster in search of tickets for the concerts, which will be divided into three phases, since the composer will move in the second part of the show to the area of ‘La Casita’ (located in general B) and in the first and last part he will be on the main stage.
This year, Bad Bunny became the most played artist in the world surpassing artists like Taylor Swift, and on Wednesday he will bet with a visual and musical montage -designed by himself- to continue revolutionizing the experience of the urban genre.
The Latin Grammy 2025 winner – for his album ‘Debí tirar más fotos’ – will play eight concerts in the Mexican capital on December 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 19, 20 and 21, reported Agencia EFE.
