Donald Trump Jr, eldest son of U.S. President Donald Trump, officially announced his engagement to model and influencer Bettina Anderson, one of the co-founders of the non-profit organization The Paradise Fund.
The announcement was made on Monday evening, December 15, during a reception held at the White House, in an event that brought together figures close to the presidential family and the Republican political environment.

During the event, Donald Trump Jr., 47, took the floor to confirm the news and emotionally expressed his gratitude to his now fiancée.
“I’m not usually at a loss for words, because I’m usually the one who’s talking non-stop. I want to thank Bettina for that one word: ‘Yes,'” she told the audience.
Bettina Anderson, who turns 39 this December, also offered a few brief words.
Visibly excited, she stated that she will marry “the love of her life,” described the weekend leading up to the announcement as “the most incredible” she has ever experienced and said she feels like “the luckiest girl in the world.”

She is co-founder of The Paradise Fund, an NGO focused on social and community impact projects.
