A video recorded from the cell phone of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent who shot an American woman in Minneapolis revealed new details of the event from a previously unknown perspective.

The video, advanced by Alpha News, was recorded, as confirmed by CNN, with the phone of the ICE agent who killed Renee Good last Wednesday, identified by several media outlets as Jonathan Ross.

Video of ICE Agent Reveals Another Perspective of Renee Good Incident

The sequence, less than a minute long, shows from the closest possible perspective the moments prior to the shooting.

The footage begins with Ross approaching Good’s vehicle, which was across the road to block ICE’s path.

“It’s okay. I’m not mad at you,” she tells him.

The officer films the woman’s burgundy-colored car from different perspectives and encounters another woman upon reaching the license plate area, identified as the now widow, Becca Good.

She herself confirmed in a statement that she was there with her wife.

“We don’t change our license plates every morning, just so you know. This will be the same license plate when you come talk to us later,” Becca told the officer as she recorded him and insisted he show his face.

“You want to come get us? You’d better go get some food, big guy,” the wife reproached him.

Meanwhile, another agent appears on the other side of the car and asks Renee Good to get out of the vehicle.

At this point she starts to maneuver to leave and Jonathan Ross steps in front of her to block her way.

The agent screams in surprise and opens fire on her.

After images moved by Ross’s gesture, the woman’s vehicle is seen crashing into a street pole.

The video has circulated on social networks and has reignited the debate among those who think the agent acted to protect himself because he thought the woman was going to run him over with the car, a narrative defended by Donald Trump’s administration.

And those who claim that he was only trying to escape, based on the movement of the wheels of Good’s vehicle, which, as seen in other videos, are heading towards the space in the road where the agent was not.

“Look at this, as difficult as it is. Many of you have been told that this law enforcement officer was not hit by a car, was not being harassed and killed an innocent woman. The reality is that his life was in danger and he fired in self-defense,” wrote Vice President JD Vance, about the incident.
