Premio Lo Nuestro’ to feature performances by Marc Anthony, Carlos Vives and Gente de Zona

Who makes up the star-studded cast?

Puerto Rican-American singer Marc Anthony, Colombian Carlos Vives and Cuban duo Gente de Zona will sing at the ‘Premio Lo Nuestro’ ceremony on February 19 in Miami, where the best of Latin music will be recognized.

These artists will be joined by Argentina’s María Becerra, Nathy Peluso and Yami Safdie, Colombia’s Sebastián Yatra, Mexico’s Sofía Reyes, Italian DJ Kybba and producer Gangsta, Televisa Univision announced Wednesday in a press release.

This is the third batch of artists announced by the Spanish-language network, which in recent weeks presented Mexicans Carín León, Cristian Castro, Gloria Trevi and Thalía, Colombian Maluma and Puerto Rican Kany García as some of the stars who will sing during the ceremony at the Kaseya Center in Miami.

The organization noted that Marc Anthony will share the stage for the first time with Nathy Peluso to perform the salsa song ‘Como en el idilio’, just a week after the American launches his first residency in Las Vegas on February 13.

Carlos Vives will sing the song ‘Te dedico’, as well as aspire to three ‘Premio Lo Nuestro’, including the category of ‘Artist of the Year’.

This edition of the awards will also mark the return of Sebastián Yatra, who will take the stage along with Gente de Zona to perform ‘Canción para regresar’.

Sofia Reyes will sing ‘Beso a beso… dulcemente’ in honor of Paloma San Basilio; Yami Safdie will perform ‘Luna de miel’; DJ Kybba will debut with ‘Ba ba ba bad remix’, and Gangsta will perform his single ‘La villa’ with Ryan Castro and Kapo.

The ceremony, which will be broadcast at 19:00 Eastern Time (00:00 GMT) from the Kaseya Center in Miami, recognizes the best of Latin music in 44 categories.

This year, Puerto Rican artists Bad Bunny, Myke Towers and Rauw Alejandro, and Mexico’s Carín León, with ten nominations each, followed by Beéle, Fuerza Regida and Karol G, with eight nominations.

Meanwhile, Arcángel, Juanes, Los Bukis (a group co-founded by Marco Antonio Solís), Manolo Díaz and Paloma San Basilio will receive special awards in recognition of their careers and legacy, reported Agencia EFE.
