Casemiro’s future is once again at the center of the international market. With the confirmation that this will be his last season at Manchester United, the Brazilian midfielder begins to sound strongly as a possible reinforcement of Major League Soccer (MLS), where LA Galaxy is already exploring his incorporation as a free agent.
Casemiro arrived at Old Trafford in 2022 from Real Madrid, in a deal valued at 82 million euros. Since then, the Brazilian has made 148 appearances for the Red Devils and scored 22 goals, establishing himself as an important part of the midfield. At 33 years of age, he has once again played a prominent role this season and was one of the most influential players in United’s three consecutive victories under Michael Carrick, who took over the first team following the sacking of Ralf Rangnick in January.
LA Galaxy appears as a strong option

Despite his performance, Casemiro himself confirmed that he will not continue at the English club.
This has triggered rumors about his next destination.
According to the Daily Mail, the Los Angeles Galaxy are seriously evaluating the possibility of signing him as a designated player.
An MLS rule introduced in 2007 with the arrival of David Beckham that allows each club to register up to three players outside the salary cap.
If the deal goes through, Casemiro would join a select list of former Manchester United stars who spent time with the Galaxy.
Beckham defended the colors of the Los Angeles club and won two MLS Cups before leaving in 2012.
While Zlatan Ibrahimovic played at Dignity Health Sports Park between 2018 and 2019, leaving a media and sporting footprint.
According to the same media outlet, Manchester United even considered activating a one-year extension option on Casemiro’s contract.
But his £375,000-a-week salary was a major obstacle.
That factor raises questions about whether LA Galaxy would be willing to take on a similar figure.
Something that, according to reports, would not represent a problem for clubs in Saudi Arabia, where the Brazilian also generates interest.
