The Seattle Seahawks vowed Wednesday to repeat as NFL champions during their Super Bowl LX title celebration in front of thousands of fans gathered at Lumen Field.

“This is a special place because of the way they support through thick and thin. I’m here to tell you that we’re not done. We’ll be back next year,” said defensive wing Leonard Williams, who sported a thick wrestling champion-style belt with the Super Bowl LX shield engraved in metal.

The Seahawks displayed the Lombardi Trophy in front of ‘The 12s’, as their fans representing player number 12 are known.

Which they earned after last Sunday’s 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX.

To the strains of Queen’s ‘We are the champions’ as the anthem of their achievement, the players took to the field amidst a shower of papel picado and the applause of their supporters.

“This was the vision we had for the Seahawks. I see all of ‘The 12s’ in this stadium, I see how powerful they make us; it gives me goose bumps.”

“We love them, they are the best. And we are the best team in the world. We are the champions.”

Mike Macdonald, the team’s coach, harangued, holding the Lombardi Trophy aloft.

Quarterback Sam Darnold, who was waived by the Minnesota Vikings at the end of the 2024 season and signed by the Seattle Seahawks for this season, thanked the team and the fans for their confidence in him.

“A lot of people didn’t believe in me, but it didn’t matter because this team including you, ‘The 12s,’ did.”

“I appreciate the faith they had in me in signing me. Thanks above all to all my teammates, to my defensive line; they know I wouldn’t be here without them,” Darnold stressed.

One of the most acclaimed was Kenneth Walker III, named Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl LX.

“This has been wonderful, it’s been a lot of celebrations, so this is the last parade; then I hope to go home and relax,” the racer noted.

At the end of the presentation at the stadium, the Seahawks players took a tour, aboard several convertible buses, through the main streets of the city to offer the Lombardi Trophy to the thousands of fans who waited for several hours to give them a standing ovation.
