The unknown of the red carpet for ‘Rosebush Pruning’ was cleared on Saturday night with the presence at the Berlinale of singer Dua Lipa with her partner, British actor Callum Turner, one of the protagonists of the film by Brazilian Karim Aïnouz.
British singer Dua Lipa wore a see-through tight black dress and was all smiles and in good spirits with her partner Callum Turner.
Another highly anticipated star on this carpet and at the festival was Canadian actress Pamela Anderson, who paraded in a pink top and skirt dress in shades of apple green with a matching voluminous cloak of the same color.
Spanish actress Elena Anaya, wearing a short black leather skirt and white shirt and cape, did not hesitate to express her gratitude to “so many loving people lining up in the cold” and the madness unleashed by the presence of Dua Lipa and Turner and Pamela Anderson, her partner in the film.
“It’s a dream, absolutely, this is like a circus and a wonder,” she said in statements to EFE, adding, “Well, it’s the magic of cinema, isn’t it? So I’m very happy to be part of this beautiful family”.
About Anderson he said that she is “a wonderful woman and a great partner” with whom it has been very nice to act and “tell this delirious story about a family that is so unstructured and so different.
“No one will ever see a family like this. It’s the first time, I think, that such a peculiar and different story is told. So I’m very happy to be part of it, to be the landscape designer of that family and to be able to kidnap the mother of those crazy siblings,” she said, alluding to the film’s plot.
For Anaya it has been “an absolute privilege to be part of this stellar cast” and to be in a film by Aïnouz, one of her favorite directors, she said.
Filming in Spain was like feeling at home, very close to his family, and shooting in Barcelona was a luxury, he said.
“We were in an absolutely spectacular house and well, it’s one of those things that Spain offers, isn’t it? Suddenly a brutalist villa in Barcelona that is very impressive. It’s like another character in the film,” he added, reported Agencia EFE.
