The news of the death of Leo Rosas took both his followers and the public who knew him on Mexican television by surprise. Leo Rosas and his latest post on social networks

Hours after his death was confirmed, what would be Leo’s last post on Instagram began to circulate. Approximately 18 hours before the official announcement, the singer shared a video showing what appeared to be a romantic dinner.
The images showed served dishes, a pitcher, carefully arranged food, rose petals and heart-shaped candles, details that evoked an intimate and special atmosphere. Although it is not apparent if he was accompanied, the atmosphere suggested a meaningful celebration. The video was set to the song “Make Me Feel”, by Oskar med k, without the artist adding further explanation in the description.
The publication took on a special meaning after the news broke, becoming a space where followers left messages of farewell and dismay.
So far, Bolivian authorities have not disclosed an official cause of death. However, Alfredo Mendoza told Bolivisión TV that his nephew was suffering from depression.
“We were all surprised (…) He had a problem, he was suffering from depression, so that’s what happened. It seems that he could no longer and, well, he had this outcome,” he said. He also pointed out that Leo was under treatment, although he acknowledged the complexity of this disease: “Depression is a disease whose outcome is unknown. He was working as usual”.
The relative said that it was around 5:15 a.m. local time when the singer’s mother received the devastating news.
A talent that marked Bolivia and Mexico

Originally from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, Leo Rosas showed from a very young age a strong inclination for music. His participation in La Voz Mexico in 2019 projected him internationally. During the auditions, he got figures such as Belinda, Ricardo Montaner, Lupillo Rivera and Yahir to turn their chairs, finally choosing Yahir as his mentor.
Although he came in second place in the competition, his talent allowed him to share the stage on several occasions with his coach in presentations in Mexico City. After his death was confirmed, Yahir dedicated an emotional message to him: “I can’t believe this. I send a big hug and my most sincere condolences to Leo’s family and to all of Bolivia. What sad news, talented and tremendous person my Leo. Rest in peace”.
The departure of Leo Rosas leaves a deep void among those who recognized in him not only a promising voice, but also an artistic sensitivity that transcended borders.
