For the recordings of the posthumous duets included in this tribute to Vicente Fernández, the original masters of the idol’s voice were used, complementing them thanks to technology.

Tributo al Rey con banda (Grandes duetos) Vol. 1 features the participation of figures such as Eden Muñoz, Banda El Recodo, Christian Nodal and Yuri.

Each track on this album was developed as a new production, worked on individually by the guest artists together with their lead producers.

Using the original masters of Vicente Fernandez’s voice as a starting point, new arrangements and new interpretations were made.

In addition to a contemporary production that results in unpublished versions within the universe of regional Mexican music.

“For me, ‘Lástima que seas ajena’ is one of the most beautiful songs in Vicente Fernández’s immense catalog”.

“But I always imagined it with a band and I really wanted to record it.”
