Jasson Dominguez, born February 7, 2003 in Esperanza, Dominican Republic, is a talented outfielder for the New York Yankees.

Nicknamed “The Martian” for his exceptional skills, he signed with the Yankees in July 2019.

He made his major league debut on September 1, 2023, hitting a home run in his first at-bat against Justin Verlander, becoming the youngest player in Yankees history to do so.

However, a right elbow injury required Tommy John surgery in September 2023, which kept him sidelined until May 2024.

After his return, he suffered an oblique strain that kept him off the field for an additional eight weeks, according to ESPN. Despite these setbacks, Dominguez remains one of the organization’s most exciting prospects.
