A half-human, half-artificial intelligence Katy Perry put the finishing touch to the 2025 edition of The Town music festival in the Brazilian city of São Paulo on Sunday.
Brazil once again surrendered to the feet of this woman, who last year used the country as a stage to present her album “143” at Rock in Rio.

At the pre-show, it was possible to identify those who arrived this Sunday at the Interlagos Autodromo to see her specifically. Some went along with the aesthetics of her latest album and wore silver and metallic clothes, which the cold São Paulo night forced them to cover up with thick coats or colorful and plastic raincoats.
The curtain fell with a brief version of “ARTIFICIAL” from her latest album, and Katy Perry landed on stage with robotic movements and a blank stare, as if she had just arrived in the world from a spaceship, wearing a metallic suit with a heart pierced on her chest.

Already in the second level of this “game”, titled after one of the songs from her latest album, “WOMAN’S WORLD”, Katy Perry wore lighter clothes, showed increasingly human movements and smiled as she performed short versions of her most endearing songs, such as “California Gurls”, “Teenage Dream”, even a rock version of “Hot n Cold” with “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)”.

The final victory cry came with the song “Rise”, a song to resilience composed by the artist and adopted as one of the anthems of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
After a two-hour concert, she sealed her passage through São Paulo with “Fireworks”, which in 2012 earned her two Grammy nominations, accompanied by a colorful fireworks show that followed the rhythm of the music.
In Brazil, reported Agencia EFE, the artist will continue her tour of Curitiba and Brasilia, before taking off for Ireland, from where she will continue her tour of Europe and finish with eight concerts in Asia.
