Actor and martial arts expert Chuck Norris was hospitalized in Hawaii for an unspecified medical emergency, according to TMZ.

Sources with direct knowledge told the publication that in the last 24 hours a medical emergency took the ‘Delta Force’ (1986) actor to a hospital on the island of Kauai, and that, despite the situation, he is in good spirits.

Norris was training on the island Wednesday and, according to one of his friends, spoke with him on the phone and noticed him in good spirits, even cracking jokes.

On March 10, Norris celebrated his 86th birthday and posted a video in which he can be seen training and in which he says the phrase: “I don’t age, I raise the level”.

Norris is known for his career in action films and martial arts, with emblematic titles such as ‘The Way of the Dragon’ (1972), where he shared the screen with Bruce Lee, as well as for starring in the popular television series ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ (1993).
