All set for NASCAR Mexico in Aguascalientes: these are the official schedules

The roar of the engines returns this Sunday, May 18 with two great races and activities starting at 10:30 a.m. The 2025 NASCAR Mexico season continues with one of its most anticipated dates: the “Aguascalientes, el Gigante de Mexico” Award, to be held this Sunday, May 18. The Aguascalientes oval will host a double day of speed that will gather the best drivers of the country in the Trucks, NASCAR Mexico and Challenger categories.

This event promises a lot of excitement early on and is an excellent opportunity for motorsports fans in the Bajio and also for the Hispanic community in the U.S. who follow the performance of Mexican drivers closely.

These are the schedules confirmed by NASCAR Mexico:

10:30 a.m. – Grid formation Trucks category
11:00 a.m.Presentation of pilots
11:25 a.m.Start of engines
11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. – Trucks Race (90 laps)
1:00 p.m. – NASCAR and Challenger Grid
1:15 p.m.Presentation of pilots and protocol ceremony
1:40 p.m. – 3:20 p.m. – NASCAR feature race (170 laps)
3:30 p.m. – Awards ceremony by category

* If you live in Los Angeles, for example, the main run will be between 11:40 a.m. and 1:20 p.m.

* If you live in New York City, it will be from 2:40 p.m. to 4:20 p.m.

The NASCAR Mexico weekend will begin on Friday 16 with free practice.

It will continue on Saturday 17 with the official qualifiers, both events free to the public.

Access to Sunday’s main event will cost $250 Mexican pesos (US$14.62, approx.).

The newspaper El Heraldo de Aguascalientes will be giving out free gifts to those who visit its offices during the week.
