After more than two months with respiratory complications, the pontiff left this world after being hospitalized for 38 days. His legacy, both spiritual and cultural, was quickly honored by representative figures of the Argentine youth music scene.

His closeness to the people, his direct language and his ability to connect with young people made him a highly valued figure.

Even outside of strictly religious spaces.

For Hispanics in the United States, many of whom follow both Argentine music and church life closely, these farewell gestures represent a powerful synthesis:

A generation of popular artists respectfully bid farewell to a spiritual leader who was not afraid to be simple, authentic and deeply human.
