The 50th anniversary revival of the legendary ‘Jaws’ took second place at the weekend’s box office, with horror film ‘Weapons’ reclaiming the top box office spot with $10.2 million more in the U.S., and a worldwide total of $234.6 million.

‘Weapons’ returned to lead the box office after briefly ceding this spot to ‘KPop Demon Hunters,’ an animated film that opened directly online in most parts of the world last week.

Fifty years after its release, ‘Jaws’ was re-released this weekend and grossed $9.8 million, proving that classics still appeal to audiences.
