Pride in your team and thanks to the fans

In his message, Canelo acknowledged those who accompany him in each camp and in each preparation, highlighting the importance of working together:

“I am very grateful to my team for all the sacrifices we have made together over the years.”

The Jalisco native also emphasized that, beyond the result, he feels like a winner because he has the support of millions of fans in Mexico and in the Hispanic community in the United States, who have accompanied him at every stage of his career:

“I already won because I have my family with me and millions of fans who have never stopped supporting me.”

Although the loss to Crawford marks a before and after in his career, Canelo Alvarez’s career remains one of the most successful in Latino boxing history.

With titles in four divisions and a decade of dominating the international scene, his name remains among the sport’s greats.

The Sept. 13 fight not only crowned Crawford as the best pound-for-pound fighter today.

It also showed a human Canelo, willing to humbly acknowledge a loss and appreciate what he considers his greatest victory: his family and the unwavering support of his fans.
