Mexico’s Carín León, one of the most powerful figures in Latin music today, has signed a global deal with WME (William Morris Endeavor), one of the world’s most influential artist representation firms. The announcement, made on December 2, confirms that the artist will work with WME‘s global co-director of music, Kirk M. Sommer, on all areas of his career, from touring to commercial projects and international opportunities.

The alliance has a clear objective: to take Carín León’s music to new global territories beyond the markets where it already dominates strongly. Her manager, Jorge Juárez, emphasized that the joint vision is to expand the artist’s impact in countries where Mexican regional music has exploded in popularity in recent years. “Carín has enormous potential to expand into other global territories. We look to WME to guide us in all areas of her expertise,” said Juarez. Sommer added, “Carín is a generational artist. He has consistently broken barriers and transcended genres. We are honored to work with him.
