Actors Jason Isaacs, Sigourney Weaver and Celia Imrie will be part of the cast of ‘Tomb Raider’, the new Amazon series inspired by the legendary video game franchise and starring Sophie Turner as Lara Croft, Amazon announced in a release.
So far only Turner (‘Game of Thrones’) and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (‘Fleabag’) were known to be involved as creator, writer, executive producer and co-showrunner with Chad Hodge.

“Tomb Raider has always been known for its bold storytelling and unforgettable characters, and these new cast members bring incredible depth and solemnity to the series,” says Peter Friedlander, head of Amazon MGM Studios.
Sigourney Weaver will be Evelyn Wallis, a mysterious and influential woman interested in exploiting Lara’s talents, while Jason Isaacs (‘The White Lotus’) will play Atlas DeMornay, Lara’s uncle, and Bill Paterson (‘House of the Dragon’) will be Winston, the Croft family butler.

The cast includes Jack Bannon, John Heffernan, Paterson Joseph, Sasha Luss, Juliette Motamed, August Wittgenstein. Jonathan Van Tulleken will direct the series and will also serve as executive producer, reported Agencia EFE.
