Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) made a solid start to the defense of their UEFA Champions League 2025-26 title with a 4-0 home win over Atalanta. The goals came from Brazilian Marquinhos, Georgian Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Portuguese duo Nuno Mendes and Gonçalo Ramos, in a dominant performance in front of their home fans.
PSG showed high pressure from the start and made it clear that their objective is to conquer Europe’s top club competition once again.
Bayern Munich beats Chelsea at home

In another of the most anticipated Champions League duels, Bayern Munich defeated Chelsea 3-1 at the Allianz Arena.
Harry Kane was the star of the match with a brace (one from the penalty spot).
An own goal by Trevoh Chalobah completed the scoring for the Germans. Cole Palmer scored the only goal for the English.
Argentine Enzo Fernández started the game and came off in the 80th minute, while Alejandro Garnacho came on in the final half hour.
Despite their individual talent, Chelsea were unable to impose their game against a Bayern side that looked solid and forceful.
Liverpool wins a great game against Atletico

At Anfield, Liverpool beat Atletico Madrid 3-2 with an agonizing goal by Virgil van Dijk in stoppage time.
The English had taken a 2-0 lead in the first six minutes, but Diego Simeone’s side equalized with two goals from Marcos Llorente.
Just when it looked like the tie was sealed, Van Dijk’s header sealed the game.
Argentine Alexis Mac Allister played the last half hour for the Reds, while Nahuel Molina came on in the second half for Atletico.
