Latin music star Chiquis signed a deal with Prajin Parlay Inc, the entertainment company headed by renowned executive George Prajin, marking a milestone as the first woman to join the U.S.-based company’s roster of artists.
The deal for the three-time Latin Grammy winner marks a new beginning in her career with projects and collaborations to be announced in the coming months, according to a company statement.
“Chiquis is an undeniable force, not only in music, but also as a cultural icon,” Prajin said in the press release.

The music executive said Chiquis’ artistry, vision and connection with fans are unmatched, and he is honored to welcome her as the first woman to join his cast of artists.
“Together, we will propel her already extraordinary career to new heights,” he stressed about the agreement signed with the singer.
Prajin is also co-owner of Double P Records and Double P Management along with Mexican corrido singer Peso Pluma, which has solidified his position as one of the most influential figures shaping today’s Latin music scene.
With more than a decade of career, Chiquis, eldest daughter of the late Jenni Rivera, icon of the regional Mexican genre, has become one of the most influential voices in Mexican music. She has also ventured as a songwriter and businesswoman.
