Clarissa Molina grabbed the public’s attention this Monday when she appeared on the show El gordo y la flacawhich Univision broadcasts at 4:00 p.m. (Eastern time), with part of one of her hands visibly bandaged.
The image did not go unnoticed by the hosts and viewers, who immediately began to wonder what had happened to the charismatic Dominican presenter and actress.
As soon as the broadcast began, Raúl de Molina and Lili Estefan did not hesitate to ask her about the bandage, concerned about her well-being. To reassure everyone, Clarissa explained that it was a minor domestic incident, which occurred while she was performing a daily activity at home.
A little accident in Clarissa Molina’s kitchen
With her characteristic good humor, the winner of the VIP edition of Nuestra Belleza Latina told that she suffered a slight burn while cooking. “I burned myself baking,” she explained with a laugh. She explained that she usually concentrates so much on what she is doing that she sometimes forgets the environment and the necessary precautions, which on this occasion led to the small mishap.
“When I’m focused on the target, I don’t realize that things are too hot and I end up burning myself,” she commented. Despite this, she clarified that it all happened “for a good cause,” as she was preparing something special in the kitchen.
Clarissa also revealed that not only was part of her hand affected, but she also had a slight burn on the opposite arm, although it was not visible due to her clothing. To the concern of her colleagues, Raúl de Molina asked her if it had been necessary to go to the hospital. The presenter replied that no, and that she was only applying a cream to relieve the discomfort and promote recovery.
Fortunately, the incident did not escalate and remained just another anecdote in their daily lives.

Beyond the small scare, Clarissa Molina kicked off 2026 with great news on the professional front. The host recently celebrated the television debut of her hit podcast Clarissima, which premiered on Univision last Saturday, January 10.
