How Romeo Santos and Prince Royce’s joint album was born

The album ‘Mejor tarde que nunca’ came about after years of mutual respect between Romeo Santos and Prince Royce, two of the most influential figures in modern bachata.

Although they shared the stage in events and occasional collaborations, both agreed that the right time for a joint project came when their careers were already consolidated.

The album was born out of private creative sessions, with the goal of paying homage to traditional bachata without losing a contemporary sound.

Artistic chemistry and a shared Dominican heritage shaped a landmark album for the genre.
